While judging is somewhat subjective, Point Scoring for Horticulture is adhered to, minimizing the subjectiveness. There were seven Sections with a total of 28 Classes. Based on these criteria, the following awards are given:
Major Awards:
Division: 95 or better
Section: 95 or better
Class Awards:
Blue: 90 or better (only one awarded)
Red 85 or better (only one awarded)
Yellow 80 or better (only one awarded)
White 75 or better (multiple)
If a 90+ is indicated on a Red, Yellow, or White entry, it indicates that the entry qualified for a Blue, but another entry scored somewhat higher. Based on this, Portsmouth Garden Club entered and was recognized and awarded the following:
