The Portsmouth Garden Club

April 24, 2025. The Annual Federation Luncheon and installation was held at the Quonset O Club. Ten Portsmouth members were attended. The designer was Polly Hutchinson of Robin Hollow Farm who did two pieces one of which was won by Janice. The club contributed a basket "Pamper Yourself" assembled by Rochelle for the raffle. While the RI Federation of Garden Clubs celebrated its own 95 years, Portsmouth was awarded a 90th anniversary certificate. The second-place award for the education display at the RIFGC Flower show won by Karen Saucier, not present was delivered to the club. Outgoing Federation president, Judy Gray, stopped by to speak and show off the completed design.
