April 9, 2025 The meeting featured Anna Kocon, owner of Little State Flower Company, on "The business of growing flowers". We were again delighted to have our friend, and a daughter of one of our members, explain the history of her flower farm which was begun in Portsmouth over eleven years ago. Her company is unique in that she provides specialty flowers year-round. Her tulips, lilies, dahlias and many other cut flowers are sought out by florists and wedding designers. She brought a beautiful and informative presentation and bunches of her tulips and ranunculus.
A delightful and fun Easter buffet was provided by Ileene and our member Joan, designed a moss potted bunny planted with pansies.
