September 2025 The Civic Beautification Committee shown at work in late August and September at Legion Park, The Portsmouth Library and the Church Street gardens. Shown, Janet Shrake (chair) Mary Pat Komm, Jane Thomas and Christine Grande. The committee has 12 members who design, purchase and plant the plants and rotate watering and dead-heading all season.
