The Portsmouth Garden Club

On December 1, seventeen members of the Portsmouth Garden Club worked at their annual Christmas workshop to create Christmas decorated items for all town buildings. Three large 36-inch wreaths were decorated; one each for the fire department, the police department and the cannon at Legion Park at town hall.
They also decorated ten 16-inch wreaths. 17 swags also needed bows and when finished they were affixed to the posts at the Legion park stone obelisk and at the parking lot sign-posts at the public library.
