A class was  presented by the Portsmouth Garden club on Tues. November 14 for learning the basics on creating a fall flower arrangement for the home. It was held at the Portsmouth Public Library with funding to the library from a Rhode Island Foundation Community Grant. Each of the 10 participants made the fresh floral design and took it home. The class was conducted by club  member Linda Kirkpatrick, with assistance from members  Mary DI Bara, Linda Howard, Karen Saucier, Suzan Ballard, Roberta Stevens  and Colleen Gebhard.   One additional mass line arrnagement was also made by Linda Kirkpatrick.
