2023 June Club Blue Ribbon Winner again!

 23 June Portsmouth Garden Club Blue Ribbon Winner 2^nd year in a row

June 23-25, 2023 Newport Flower Show Club Competitions Class.

Twelve entries from area garden clubs, four of which were primarily for blue and four were primarily for white plants in a Chinese vase. The Show theme was "the Grand Tour". The club entry was inspired  to fill the Chinese vase for the Preservation Society Tea House was the ancient Shan-Shai landscape painting, Shan meaning "mountain" and Shau "meaning "river". A central potato bush displayed as a standard tree, represented the mountain and blue and silver plants represented  the river.

The committee was composed of Nancy Oliveira, Karen Saucier, Suzan Ballard, Jane Thomas and Ann Gizzi (not pictured)
